Yeah, what is important are the tournaments (or the average score compared to the average score of the other opponents). Top scores have a quick visual value though.

Also: more motivation for all the others to break the record.

So far the maximum scores (actually the real meaning of the score is the distance against the active opponents. As computed once here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9&start=100#p5171 . It is more impressive to have 1700 when everyone else is 1300, than having 2200 when everyone else is 2000+ . Plus it is more impressive to reach and hold 2200+ when everyone else is 2000+ rather than dropping it after few matches )

It's kinda funny that I had 2000+ for like a day right before my last major drop, and I never recovered from that drop

Doing super pushes are a dead tactic to me. I do need to update theletter7's AI layout to match what my current standard is, but honestly, I don't have any hope for it to be anything more than a gimmick. Also, I think unless I find a good solution to my bugs in my current system, I ain't rising any higher except from inflation

Like ntk, my nightmare was 'mind game' today and i just spent something like 2 hours finding a solution,
i'm pretty satisfied with it but it needs to be tested 'on the field' now
Also today i adopted the shotgun technique for 'meeting point': really fun ! And i had to improve a little for circle of death.
I will try to go first place but i feel like i'm behind regarding the snipers evading techniques in front of shotguns. Translate

From the new strong players. Aoi played a lot to get 2100, so he is strong but "understandable". Acho is either a second account of someone that was already strong, or he is another fast riser like tct, wozza, miojo, milkhunter (and I may forget someone)

Say hi to the inflation caused by ghosts. (but not as quick as I though)

Actually DH! does not play much, his ghost is more about 2050 than 2100+ but I rarely saw so many accounts over 2100+ (with kfactor of 20 in the last league) . last time was alpha 9.x August 2017 / September 2017 with a couple of accounts around 2300, a couple around 2150.

Nonetheless I can confirm that the relative scores, that is the core part of the elo formula (the expected win percentage given the difference in score), still works quite well. So the elo formula is alive and kicking, just the score have to be considered not in absolute value, not in percentages, but in distance (2200-1900 = 300 points of distance).
