A look back on League 4

I reached 1000 matches played today :)
So here are some stats about the league 4 for almost 3 weeks.
I used only 11 screenshots, so data is poor but you see some evolution:

Also: I took screenshot when my rank was not too bad, so I may appear better than reality :mrgreen:
I'm sorry to MGBlitz and Christian, they deserve to be in the data but they appeared only a few days ago.
Thanks all for the challenge and the fun !!! I'll continue to play of course but it's kind of time consuming :oops:

You already are: with more time and screenshots I would have taken 30 or 50 players.

I need time... i have more jobs to do and need play less... my AI is full of bugs, debug is hard... change setup before and after the test match.

When release 5.4 with gost games it will be less complex

Johnbob great idea! (oh communities are great) I have way more screenshots (apart from the last two days that I did not play due to lack of time to adjust Ais.

This May be a request for gfx. A sort of diagram showing the evelotion of a player score in the last X days.

Remember that online games hook players especially with statistics over time (see all the world of tanks players fixed with win ratio and games played).

Omg. Hard to see my fall so graphically :cry: That's happening when you try new strategies and you are to lazy to test them with bots.

Thx for the statistic and I have to confirm what ntk said. I should play less. I will do that, once when my AI are a little better then now. Until then I will tweak them :geek:

I do not agree completely.

Either the AI are good, so they win most of the time (and you go up) or they are not, so either you have a testing account (sort of cheat) or you do not play, to save points, but then you disappear from the list.

I would say one plays until the Ai are good, once those are good, that's it, one mostly gains points. See nullpointer.

I want saied easy:

Need test new AI for a map:
0. Copy base AI... but (see pont 1)
1. Limit 50 of AI
1.1. Delete an AI
2. Edit new AI
3. Change bots AI (think at circle of death)
4. Test the new AI vs standard AI:
4.1 Last AI
4.2 sg
4.3 mg
4.4 snipers
4.5 think how many AI for testing u needs
5 then restore
5.1 but somethimes, more somethimes do mistake
5.1.1 forgot to restore the RELEASE AI
5.1.1.1 next game play with a internal test AI
5.1.2 Restore not full RELEASE AI and after many matchs u understand of it after meet some AI.... like shotgun in seven wonder and your bots didn't beat them and lose
5.1.3 If u r lucky remember the name of the missed restore AI, or u writed on paper...
5.1.3.1 u didn't find the AI u need develop again it

This appen many many times... for me

IT'S MORE EASY YOURS AI GOT OUT OF CONTROLL...it's easy to understand

I didn't say how i think bad of some players, there is more trick, but it not nice vs other players play with more accound and say: didn't

The true problem is not develop good AI, but manage it.

I can't understand why players like Blitz is not on top of score... or i know :mrgreen:

Agree, I have sets of AIs that sum up to ~300 nodes that are unmanageable now without notes and reusable subtrees. But GFX will give us that afaik.

I have got 16 AI's right now (and never had more up to date). I do almost all my testing in multiplayer or against my own AI's. It hurts my elo but it definately saves alot of time and work.

I rarely get pitted against one in the top 10 where every little detail matters. So my elo right now is somewhat lucky and misleading I guess.

hmm, strange. I have to check. I made the channel open to everyone.

I checked and there is no setting that limits members to write or not, it is just open.

OK I see, it seems that channels are read only for members, I have to create a supergroup. I try now.
