I'm not really closing it for now, just disabling new member registration.
Since discord is live, this place has essentially become a spam folder more than a discussion space.
I'm keeping alive the existing threads and accounts for posterity but it just takes me too much time to ban spam bots everyday.

Yes killing the spammers is too much, I do agree (although in the past there were people that offered to be mods).

But does it mean that, for posterity, I should back up the posts with stats? As discord is not exactly a proper tool to accumulate historical records.
