Since Alpha 7.9, the game was using a "free to try" model: players could play a bit of the early game and then pay if they wanted to continue.
From Alpha 10, the game will use a "free to play" model:
Each time the player completes a practice mission, he will be asked to either buy the "pro version" of the game or watch a video ad to play the next one:
Every 10 career matches, the player will be asked to either buy the "pro version" of the game or watch a video ad to continue playing:
All matches (ranked, unranked and private) are counted in the "every 10 career matches" loop.
The number of free matches is subject to changes and A/B testing.
Test mode and private matches are now "pro features".
It means they are only accessible to players who bought the pro version.
Each feature can be tested during a single session though.
More features will become pro in the future, like cross device/platform sync.
