5.2 to 5.3 UPGRADE NOTE:
Since 5.3(.0), the game uses a new resolution engine version (due to the collision system fixes), which means your matches from 5.2 will be deprecated and not watchable/deployable anymore.
So if you have an undeployed match, deploy it before updating!

Play, slomo, fast forward buttons work in solo mode. Now waiting on someone to play me in multiplayer.

Moreover just to be sure that it does not get lost (since I did not see it on trello), in the remote case that you may consider again pairings across different leagues: viewtopic.php?p=1017#p1017

The bug that results from pairings across different leagues do not get counted in the leaderboard, so the l+1/l-1 idea has no effect. (I know that is not anymore the case, i mention it for possible future reference if you find another matchmaking rule across leagues :love: :love:)

@pier4r Oh yeah sorry, I forgot to reply to your post.
Like you deducted it, this bug only happened when paired with a player from a different league.
It was due to a rule I implemented for the previous version of the matchmaking: your stats didn't get impacted if you were promoted to L+1 and a pending match you created when still in league L is joined.
Basically when receiving a match result, it checked if you were still in the league it was created and if not, your stats (match count, victory count and elo rating) didn't change.
I'll remove this rule anyway.

ok (smart rule). Anyway it seems that it was valid also afterwards. Indeed I played several new matches after I saw the sunway-guy being promoted, those were labeled with "league2" and still they had no effects.

gfx pushing while shooting still occurred on my last match from mcompany on king maker,

Update 5.3.1. I should be alone in league1 because my games are still pending after 1h. As expected. I will see later if someone else joined.

Pier4r, I hope you are satisfied after taking all my points.

Dr D, I would suggest a small change to the AI Editor... A scroll lock which will prevent players from scrolling off infinitely. It shouldn't be too hard. ;)
Fixes break an AI more than bugs do. :ugeek:

I just copied some interesting tweaks from sunway. I would say that for generic assaults bots those are useful. Check my bots and see.

edit: my matches from some hours ago are still pending. Is that normal?

If no new bug is reported in 2 hours, I'll release it and we'll see how the new matchmaking works.

But 5.3.0 was tested longer than 2h or not?
