I'm back!

How's it going guys!

I'm back... Give me a bit to catch up. I have to create my ais from scratch. I'm going to try delving a little deeper this time. Less generic ais and more sub trees. I always felt so lazy when it comes to these things.

I did create a generic AI just for kicks though. Having fun seeing how far it goes while I work on other stuff. Its about 40 or 50 nodes and brought me to master. Just give me about a month and ill be number 1... For a minute or two.

I'm playing under the username kogataru

Anyway, nice to be back. Looking forward to some good matches.

ah then Kanishka had it right. he said "kogataru is strong".

Take it easy and , well, you can even keep the AI "relatively small". Milkhunter is floating around 2200 with less than 100 nodes according to his screenshot.

You play only assault or it is just the time before you found a good AI for other classes?

I'm just playing around with AIs for the time being, testing strategies and such. I dropped from 1600 to 1100, haha.

Nice, welcome back. I met you at some Freeplays. There are new cool filters but I'm sure you already found them.

Btw, all strong AIs at the moment are fully generic or almost fully generic. Even spiral and meeting point can be handled with a generic AI in a very good way.

Wow Ritter... My robots are like toys compared to yours. After like five AI resets, I've had success with this last build too. Holding my own pretty well against 1700 and up. But something you are doing is like kryptonite to my AI. I at least put up a fight vs other 2000+. How are you down to 1800s?

I will analyse and steal ideas. This might take a while.

I recently throw my attack module away and replaced it with a much smaller one. Dunt know what the kryptonite is but I think it's the mixture between staying focused on a bot and push when I can't harm him and he can't harm me.

Well Ritter, you were right... It took about a week, then I got my butt kicked.

Still, very good times! I haven't yet optimized my AI either so I'm sure it can be much improved. Only using 69 nodes so far. I'm sure ill end up around 100 when I'm satisfied with it.

Basically an AI that is meant to work on any map without any edits in-between. For example, generic only players like me set up the exact same AI in *all* positions on every map, and then from there, all I might do is change the bot class
