I used to program some semi-advanced stuff and I like programming, but before Gladiabots I haven't done any programming in my spare time (in over a year). It's also not really my profession. Can't vote xD

My only programming experience before this game was a tiny amount of BASIC in high school and attempting to edit already made programmable block scripts in space engineers.

I love the AI programming in this game though, it feels really intuitive. Especially the easy to understand rules it has (left to right for priority)

Hehe. Same here. I just know QBasic, QB64, Small Basic and HTML5. Only difference, I'm still in high school.

I'm 33...I still remember using an Acorn BBC computer in primary school (For the benefit of people who have no idea what I'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccl7YxfUEVs), back in my day they considered learning to touch type a part of I.T. class!

whipper snappers these days!

At school i programed games on my calculator (a casio 650 if i remember)
AT high school i participed to a contest for a build and program a robot which had to follow a line and pass various obstacle.

That all after that i dont think i have programmed other thing. I am conceptor on CAD software so i do not program anymore.

I studied computer science and I love to program. I do it as a hobby and at work.

I voted ' never programmed ' since I really haven't done any programming since a intro to computer science class in the 80s.

Love this game though, it's a great combination of puzzle and PvP.

Oh, well, where do I start...
I've been programming since I was, like, 13 I think. Always used to be high-level programming, I got to low-level only recently. (not sure if I like it that much tho)
My job requires occasional scripting at the moment, but I've never worked as a professional programmer.
However, I do enjoy working on some projects of my own.

This is my first post here and I think it's good place to say "Hello!". :)

If you ask, what kind of player I am, I add: I play for fun, not to win. I find Gladiabots exciting, even a bit addictive and actually it's the first Android app I have bought. It's definetely worth its price. Of course it has some disadvantages, but I find them as a challenge. Just like chess. :)

And, as you are talking about it, I believe I'm a bit older than many of players. I'm 37. :)

Well, reading the posts is interesting, I figured I was up against a group of Millennials and it appears I may be the old dog trying to learn new tricks! I am going to be 55 in a couple months. Back in college I learned Basic, Cobol, Pascal and Fortran. Never used any of it. My first computer was an 8088. (glorified calculator with 32k of memory)
