Long live calculators! (that are no different than any computer). A Hp 42s with 9kb of ram can do wonders.

At middle school in the mid-80s I learned BASIC (on an Apple IIe europlus) and PASCAL at highschool. In my private tiime I did some nerdy BASIC-stuff on my Sinclair ZX Spectrum back in the days like primitive game-programming and numbercrunching (saving the stuff on an audio cassette). I failed on teaching myself C++ in the early century. Since them I never tried to program anything again.

"I already tried to learn programming but never made it"

It's the closest option I had. I did computer engineering at college and was fairly competent, but decided I didn't want to fight with computers every minute of my professional career.

So what did I do? Start playing a game where I 'program' robots.... XD

I've dabbled in game programming since school, but never really knuckled down.

I do some basic programming for work. Mainly C, C++. It's all for automating test equipment and external meters though. Definitely not game related.

Hey there :)
I'm a Professional Programmer (Dev first, Sysadmin second) with 14 yrs in the non-gaming industry.
I usually love games where you can be creative and utilize some of my coding skills eg. From The Depths, Empyrion, Minecraft, and looking forward to Dual Universe

This gem here got me totally hooked the moment I saw it in a Let'sPlay video :)
