Same limits as the lower/upper old league.
No relation to elo reset.
Players will start in bronze.

Next league = half previous league (approx)

Nice.

thanks to miojo and milkhunter we know that it is not necessary to have a lot of players playing (maybe it is the contrary).

As soon as they got in a bigger league (from 1550 up) with a larger kfactor, they broke best scores quite quickly. 2400 now.

remember: larger kfactor ->>more points exchanged.

I patched the k factors:
Bronze = 30
Silver = 25
Gold = 20

Can someone update the wiki?

It's that time of the week again
83 bronze (+58)
94 silver (-29)
34 gold (+3)
16 platinum (-3)
21 diamond (-6)
17 master (+6)
18 grand master (-3)

It seems that overall the split second league change seemed to do a lot of redistribution, especially by pushing A LOT of players from silver to bronze league (who knows if they'll stay active). However, beyond bronze and silver, it only seems like 3 people went from platinum to gold and 6 people went from diamond to master (not bad at all)

yes I guess those were floating in the "demotion" stripe.

Now with the leagues used only to determine the kfactor we may see a better distribution over time.

172 silver (+78)
28 gold (-6)
12 platinum (-4)
20 diamond (-1)
16 master (-1)
18 grand master (+0)

That's a lot of people in silver.

I think the reason so many people are in silver is because everyone starts in bronze. What if we did 12 placement matches to determine where someone starts?(silver-master)
