And thus, the facade that I've already for the most part is revealed. To be honest, stats like this (such as the higher leagues being more accurate to its player count) is why I typically disregard silver league or overflows into bronze league, as most of those number include super inactive players

this is a nice stats report. May I ask you that you report it also in text and not only in pictures? So others may do stats later on . <3

Note, furthermore, that the stats (as far as I know) don't report unranked activity that is still activity.

Aside from that, in telegram I just said that the unranked mode, that I criticized for long time, it is pretty neat for all those people that don't wish to think too much but wants to see how is the status of the opponents (since without profiles the unranked mode is likely played with the same AIs of the ranked mode). Indeed DH! is spamming unranked matches and at least he is playing somehow.

In other words, unranked is really neat for those coming back or being semi inactive.

To address Pier's early results, I believe it is better to keep it a week apart or more since it takes a full week for someone to fall of the leaderboard
10 bronze (-3)
86 silver (-6)
12 gold (+5)
5 platinum (-3)
16 diamond (-4)
10 master (+2)
8 grand master (-2)

Are you sure you are comparing it to the 31st data? Because 13 - 3 does not equal 5... (platinum)

16 platinum (+11)
15 diamond (-1)
6 master (-4)
9 grand master (+1)

A day late again, but here is my true data:
4 Bronze (+2)
13 Silver (+7)
6 Gold (0)
11 Platinum (+2)
13 Diamond (+2)
3 Master (-3)
9 Grand Master (0)

59 Total (+10)

Overall positive influx of players. According to Mcompany's data, Bronze went up in numbers by approximately 12, which indicates that this could simply be 8-12 new/returning players. Master/Grandmaster continues to decline. Whatever the case, we'll see next week whether this trend continues or decay.

Monday instead of Sunday, but:
11 bronze (-9)
93 silver (-14)
8 gold (±0)
16 platinum (-1)
14 diamond (-2)
5 master (+1)
8 grand master (-1)

Hey revenge, you don't need to wait on me for your data

Hey revenge, you don't need to wait on me for your data

I try and sync it as close to the date you post as possible. So that I can match up the True data with the data accurately. It also looks nice when I compare the 2 graphs.

True Data for this week:
2 Bronze (-2)
8 Silver (-5)
5 Gold (-1)
12 Platinum (+1)
11 Diamond (-2)
4 Master (+1)
7 Grand Master(-2)

49 Total Players (-10)

Literally the exact number of players that were gained last week were lost (10). I guess that was just weird return of player activity for a week. In any case, I expect this coming week's numbers to jump up, with the release of Alpha 12. :)

11 Silver (+3)
8 Gold (+3)
9 Platinum (-3)
7 Diamond (-4)

52 Total Players (+3)

As expected, player count is higher due to the release of the Alpha 12 Rc's. Even so, it is not as great a change as I was expecting.

I would believe that the large increase you was expecing (based on what happened for version 11) didn't happen either because not many bother with the forums or RC versions or that one might be tired out of updates. Either that or some just flat out left the game and didn't look back

That's a bit of a misleading way of putting it. Grand Master and Master league had a huge bump, no doubt about it. Diamond had a bump, but it isn't 100% special. Platinum also had a bump, but isn't really new from how December was. All other lower leagues had no noticeable difference

I played almost every player in every tier plat-master. Was a fun way to kill some time.
