So today I went through the media collection of the telegram chat. At the moment in telegram there are about 2900 pictures and a lot of messages, quite an history, I am happy that the channel developed such a value over time.
Anyway, I collected most - not all, since there are really a lot of pictures - the leaderboard snapshots that tells the history of the top players since there are interesting values captured in the leaderboard. In particular the score and the amount of games played. One can see that sometimes names that are always at the top don't play too much (with temporary exceptions. t800, buzzefall, wozza, miojo, etc.. Although many ended up playing a little for weeks stay at the top).
What one misses is the evolution of the score of a player, as one may have a testing phase and always be low in the leaderboard. Well, that info may come later with additional processing of the db dump (see meta thread of the unavoidable tournaments).
So far I collected 277 pictures (and I will collect some more from time to time, round about one each week) and I do not have the patience of uploading them here, 5 at time (as I used enough time already to collect the 277 snapshots from telegram), therefore I uploaded them here:
http://pier4r.pbworks.com/w/browse/#vie ... creenshots
For the rest I'll continue to use telegram (maybe collecting leaderboard screenshots in the previous channel, as they are easier to be found) and from time to time I'll update the collection on pbworks.
Of course everyone can contribute posting here a screenshot of the leaderboard (max 20-40 top players) here every 5-7 days.
If you want you can even pick the screenshots from pbworks and load them here.
PS: in general it is a pity that games, starting from gladiabots, don't organize some sort of history of player evolutions and changes. Well either the game stuff themselves or the community. People do a lot of nice addition to games, but they always forget how useful is history after a while to compare now with the past.
