Reported somethinf like this when pushing while shooting got removed,

Gfx said
"I removed the intentionall one"

So accidents like this would be quite normal.

I still don't understand why y'all consider pushing as such a bad exploit that should get removed

No it is not this. I also believe that with the absence of multiple shotguns it would be even worse than in 5.2. I just report it because since gfx wanted it removed, it still happens.

But I suppose that it is ok if it happens as long as the shotgun is not doing "move to bot with which I have contact". So if the shotgun is moving to the base, all ok.

I understand that gfx wants to take out pushing, it's just that I could easily make an argument on how much worse of a strategy that a purposeful use of pushbot is compared to any current strategy, and I feel like pushbot should have gotten more support for it (such as an ”isTouching” distance or even a ”push” move action) rather than getting less support. It was never overpowered, it was never a game breaking exploit, and the community was never given a chance to counter it before it was labeled as a bug

Hey I suggested the near and on conditions. Check em out. They would indeed work well with pushing bots.

A user in discord (channel #strategies) found out that the push still works.
