As written in the faq, we need to watch the matches to compute them and verify the result and headless computation is not available yet.

I do not appear in any leaderboards, maybe ill try to deploy a match.
Its just that the game does not survive for 1min online gameplay.

Dunno if there should be an alpha 8.5 thread, anyway

- great work for the debugger and written explanations, way more understandable than before (although I checked few of them)
- the health and shield bars are unusual but the 25% subdivision is helpful
- testing maps are great
- I like the new font when it is not caps, seems like trebuchet
- done part of the tutorial. Nice so far.
- nice the stats although the 0.75 of the Mg is not reported
- nice the new seemingly unlimited xp levels and the info in career mode

Should be changed :
- if I don't complete the training I'm annoyed always that is encouraged to finish it. After the 3rd time is enough I think.
- the white background on the nodes in the editor is disturbing. I prefer Gray on black rather than black on gray.

Note :
- I understand we need to report what is not nice but it is sad that all the rest that is awesome is not mentioned.

Extra cool : the now after selecting one ai at the next time I see the ai list I don't have to scroll for kilometers like before. (that is : the ai list view is not reset to the top)

Could be changed: shell casing seen at lowest quality. One that uses the lowest (or the two lower?) quality cannot really care about expended bullets.

o ingame browser button to go to extern browser
o offline debugging of the last ?20? Matches. When I'm offline in a plane or a train, sometimes I want to debug some complicated lost matches. Would be cool to keep some matches in the cache, so I can watch them again when I'm offline.

In short, alpha 8 don't change the mechanics which is good because imho it's well ballanced. But the graphics and the usability improved a lot. Can't say anything about the tutorials but tooltips helped too


+100500 and want to add some things I'd like to change a bit:
* OCD P(orn)erfection: to make node's sizes uniform to see symmetric grids of algorithms :D (currently connector has shape different from condition/action node's; and condition/action nodes are sligtly smaller than grid cells)
* "o button for marking all matches as watched" can be alternated to just leaving [NEW] tag near the result of the match ([DRAW], [VICTORY], [DEFEAT]) that will be automatically displayed after match completion

in "select a target" (while editing a node) the textual tooltip stays always visibile and it takes away visibility of the suggested targets.

In alpha 7 I could move away the debug window too then stop by at the right moment and move it again in the center of the screen. Now the window seems stuck

I know that. And it's fine when you get beaten every four our give matches. But there are some players where i see the name and I know how the match will be. Then this I've could be a pain

Nevermind, cool if it is adjustable but nothing what will annoy me.

Yes I see but GFX explained that we need to see the match to double check the computation so, in any case is unavoidable like my tournaments.
