He's big and slow, but packs a wallop. Ideas and suggestions for how to use him better?

Agreed, I figured I'd start with the specific bot tactics first, much easier to handle the edge cases before discussing bot tactics in general.

While in alpha 5.2 we did not use assaults, I think that with the current forced solution (that I love), there is quite a difference between assault and mg because tactics are different.

Mg can use to disrupt enemy fire: they can behave as a decoy long range, tank a bit of damage and then go back, thanks to alpha 7 filters. Like a shotgun, but the shotgun an penetrate the wall of fire a bit more if mg tank damage.

Mg can be used to collect resources since it is the faster bot. and can tank punishment.

Mg should not switch target so fast since the burst length is not as short as the assault.

Mg cannot quickly advance for an assault, that's assaults' job.

Question
"Is self firing"
And then priority actions

Does that stop the mg
For example
Self is firing but shield is low, retreat only if self done/not firing anymore.

Because ive read sethcons spreadsheet for bulley damage and mg cutting its firing time like an asault is a huge loss.
Im not the best player, but atleast im something.I'm 8
