As wrote in telegram, while the Swiss system does not allow to set a schedule (aside from writing it in the rules). Round robing and double elimination allow it.

So here it is for the next matches.

actually the more the maps, the better is to have a good generic AI. it is too much making map specific AIs.

Anyway question for GFX.

Does the automatic deployment works like the following?

A vs B

first match. After the first match is played, second match. After the second match is played, third match and so on?

If it is so, the entire "asynchronous" thing is defeated and a match with many maps may last several days if the two players are not online in the same time.

Yes, as explained before, because the real number of games can't be determined before they are played.
I could pre-create the minimum game count though.
Like 6 for BO11.

Hmm, in case of my tournaments ( = all maps) while it may be better, it can leave the match open for two days.

I still think that: give the name of the opponent + select what maps to deploy would help a lot.

@participants in the tournament: if the automatism is not speeding up the deployment, please deploy manually. Then report the result here or in telegram, I'll check

Completed all matches with mumpsimus. I won 10:1:0

I have lots of AIs, sometimes several per map, but they mostly revert to my main one. The rest all use the same subroutines and overall structure.

This "all maps" rule is not handled right now so let's forget about automated matches for this tournament.
I'll remove the automatically created matches from the database and you continue using private matches.

why removing the matches? It is ok to leave the played ones.

I will enable the match reporting though. I guess a solution for "all maps" will happen in the future, as many other amazing things in gladiabots

yes the appaer as "private" but the stats page is not immediately updated.

Ox1de. May I ask you why you played only 8 of my 11 challenges? I am going to win those by forfeit otherwise.

Was really close. That is the nice part of "all maps" tournaments.

Ask milkhunter said on telegram: maybe castlevania is less optimized against the active playerbase compared to Milk or Miojo, but against the players in the tournament he was very optimized.

So the same now. I think that I and you are practically at the same level, in terms of score on the leaderboard we have difference due to other factors (other players, activity, etc.)
