Since you like double elimination, I keep it (although it is long).

16 slots, I wonder how much more visibility will have now with alpha 10.

This time we take the grand final "once". Even if a real double elimination should allow the winner of the winner brackets to lose once, we stick to toornament settings. (hopefully the will fix this)

As usual with me: ALL MAPS available for private games.

Note: you do not need to deploy all maps, you just need to win more than your opponent out of the 11 maps available in private games.
Therefore you can deploy first the map your are quite confident you will win your opponent and only later the rest, if needed. You need 6 wins or 5 wins and 2 draws and so on.

The sync system I implemented was meant to be used on all tournaments, so yes ^^'

@ gfx: since it is possible to define "fields" that then you read, like maps. Would it be possible to abuse those fields (if those are strings, we have more or less full freedom) to define other type of formats?

For example writing "all_maps" would let your automatism recognize to deploy all the maps for the tournament at once, instead of one after another. Independently from the match format (best of X)

This or a quick selection of maps. That would be fast too. Like one selects multiple files in xplore on android.

hmm. Would they get be deleted also from private matches? (Hopefully not)

Because a tournament with random maps, well, will have still a margin of "oh the opponent got lucky".

Randomly generated maps will have a generation ID that will be reusable in test mode.

So...... Ramdomly generated static maps? I mean, I'm definitely willing to grind the maps out for good ones if the ID generation isn't ridiculous, but static maps would be completely removed for randomly generated static maps? That seems... odd

In the meanwhile the visibility works wonders. Plenty of registrations today.

@artieboy I do not see your name in the stats. You need to give us your nickname in game otherwise I cannot allow you to play.

I'll have to send a mail to a couple of players that are not so active. Anyway the slots are going away like fresh bread.

Actually there are 3 players in pending because I did not see them playing a lot. Plus some that I accepted may be refused if they do not show some activity.

Anyway, quick to register!

For updates toornament does not seem to provide the possibility to send mails to the participants.

I do not want to "give away" the mails to a free mailing list provider not give my mail around. So until I don't find a better solution the forum threads are the guideline, hopefully people will follow them.

So now the registrations are really full and I have to decide whom stays behind.


Irrobert - it is clearly irroberPC but the name is not matching the actual game name, this may create confusion. So please fix it or I cannot let you play.

Porkyflip - you have not enough activity with online matches (I'd say, at least 100 matches in the last 2 weeks between ranked and unranked are required). So I cannot risk that you sign in and then do not play. Don't worry tough, tournaments will be frequent.

Lolebol15 - player not found on stats.gladiabots.com . So I won't put you in the placements

Jeckmin - not enough recent activity on stats.gladiabots.com

artieboy - player not found.

gringrant - not enough recent activity.

Also placement according to the elo at the moment of the placement
