Unavoidable Tournament: Nth best score.

elvenmonky, I just checked my server logs. You download each time you do your powerBI thing the entire logs! (1+ Gb) Really? Not that an efficient approach.

Anyway my server is doing relatively little since long time (13+ months) so it is not bad, at least a bit of bandwidth is used, otherwise I would have needed to limit the bandwidth.

I would have expected that you download the files to keep them locally and then download only the differences (or say, in doubt you download the last month worth of files). Not that you go downloading everything each time, that is a bit careless.

And yes I can understand the scream test approach "I improve only when the other said it is not good", point for you.

Automated the code a bit more today. I decided to slowly get the values also pre ghosts (but the activity required in that case will be higher) and for 2017 and 2016 I will do the stats for a month rather for a week. That is not entirely accurate, as there could be weeks when player A wins and then others where player B wins, but for the moment it will be so. For a "month victory" I will assign a first place that is 4 times "bigger" (so it is values like 4 victories) than the weekly win.

For the moment I computed only Dec 2017. Then slowly other months will come until Nov 2016.
Note that in the case of periods pre ghost I set a minimum of 70 games per week (that is, 10 games per day) as activity needed - otherwise players contribute too little and also give away too little data to be countered.

So Wozza didn't appear only in April 2017, he dominated even March (although not all the weeks, as one can check here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1354 ).
Tct snatched the month from nullpointer. Impressive.
And I won January! I remember I had a very good performance when the game switched from 6.1.3 to 7.x but then other catched up around the end of the month. Well they didn't accumulated so many high score deployments as my memory remembers.

Nullpointer incredibly lost another month due to his reluctance of deploying a lot once in the top spot. Therefore having not enough deployments with high scores. Well, I guess it is deserved. (when there were no ghosts that was really annoying. He deployed for some weeks just once or twice to do not disappear. He could have just spammed matches around with his dominating ai)
