Indie Prize 2017 (Berlin, 07-09/02/2017)

I'll be in Berlin next month, showcasing Gladiabots for the Indie Prize contest (part of the Casual Connect conference).

More details: http://indieprize.org/berlin2017/

Anyone there at this time?
Let's grab a beer!

Hmm, I'm sorry but I must support my SO in the hospital still, I cannot come. What a pity.

Went quite good!

Only positive feedback (but that's expected from devs to devs), met several publishers and very nice indie teams.
I didn't have time to finish the new tutorials before the event so I add to go with Alpha 7.8 for the demo. Players didn't seem to be too much annoyed by the scripting so I may stick to it actually...

There was a looooot of games competing (more than 120).
Gladiabots wasn't nominated for the awards though.
See the winners list here: http://indieprize.org/berlin2017/#berlin2017-winners

Thanks for the report. What do you mean with scripting?

I mean you don't really have any choice except the one the tutorial wants you to take.
