Clock (seconds counter) for offline matches

I had suggested this feature here:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=916

Now I'm formally requesting it. As I tweak my AIs offline, it would be very helpful to know if my progress makes my bots last longer, attack faster, or win matches more quickly. It would also be helpful when debugging a replay or testing an AI, to determine exactly when to stop fast-forwarding, pause, slow-mo, or pick a bot to monitor during a problematic behavior.

Merci.

Yup, already requested and therefore +1 .

This should be not hard to implement I think.

+1, except imo, I somewhat would rather have a clock that counts up and doesn't auto-end the game for certain tests

That's really what I meant, a stop watch, not a timer.

For the same reasons drartimus gave. I've been thinking this recently.
There wouldn't be a time limit.

That's a feature I miss.

I could had a timer when the mission doesn't have a timeout.

Can the timeout be disabled for all missions in test mode? If yes, that would be super

There's no timeout in test mode right now.
Or did I miss something?

That's true. I thought that you have to setup a timeout, that's why I wrote the last comment.

So no timeout but a running timer would be cool for testmode. ATM there is no timeout and no running timer.

Why not a timer, that will pause the game once usual match end time is reached, and show a dialogue box, asking whether or not to go on? (Anyway, please make this whole new timer business optional from Settings. IMHO it'll be cluttered. Unless you do UI magic.)
Fixes break an AI more than bugs do. :ugeek:

Maybe not pause, but when it counts down and hits 0s, it starts counting up with a plus sign and the numbers change color to indicate "overtime"?

I'd like the match to pause, so that I can study at what situation my AI times out.

I added test mode timer (going from 0 to infinity) in 9.3.

I misread this like this: I tested test mode timer (going from 0 to infinity). :D
Would have taken really long...
