How about pritifying the game field

So,

GFX

What it would cost to dress the game into some more or less realsitic landscapes...??

Like making arenas part of some futuristic (or not so futuristic) actual landscapes, like the game field still can be flat (logically flat) in the middle of whatever - factory, distant planet, old alien ruins, strip club, etc... Also adding some wreckages and gore when shooting? Some barrels exploding (just for sights not actual game changing damage) etc?
Different ways of bot dying - like exploding, breaking down, melting, desintegrating?
Different visuals for cucucmbers? One shooting projectiles, sniper shooting railgun or laser, shotgun - small hedgehogs, assaults - just running with sticks?

What ya say?

It's actually a competition so the field is supposed to look like a futuristic ring.
Like MMA for robots :D
But yeah, it could also be hosted clandestinely in underground basements, outside a bar, fight club style!

I also have some ideas when random maps will be implemented. Like each tile could have a separated spawning animation, giving a roulette (casino) feel to the map discovery.

Different FXs are also planned. I'm waiting for this guy to release his next asset bundle:
