That's why you have a high chance to get a cached version of the league pages and get an update to date player page when you are the first one to request it.


Understood, nice idea. I would have thought about "just making a cache of all things every hour" (cronjob). But by request is way better.

Is the infrastructure improved (server, server scripts, db queries, etc) or is one minute ok even with the previous infrastructure?

I request in the leaderboard an "activity" column. (In the personal page does not matter, since there is the "stats by period".

The activity can be like a progress bar in the old battery icon in some phones. Like with 5 slots. (example with 4 slots https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/energy- ... 059275.jpg )

Example:
One can have activity "0" if he played less than 10 games in the last 7 days.
Activity "1" between 10 and 49games in the last 7 days.
Activity 2: 50 to 99 games in the last 7 days.
Activity 3: 100 to 200 games in the last 7 days.
Activity 4: More than 200 games in the last 7 days
Activity 5: More than 20 games in the last day. (so people can be "super active" at least in one day )

So one sees who is active and who is not at glance.
