I'm not sure if having to many possibilities makes it to complicated to start with the game. Especially in the beginning I liked having a simple AI, growing and growing. imho it has to do with the lack of choices for moving around. There are only very basic possibilities to move around, so direct approach like rush'n'shoot with shotgun or stand around and shoot with snipers works well. Strategic use of Assault Class

I wonder if there is a multiplayer map with a use for the assault bot.

In fact I like the assault bot a lot and I tried to insert an assault bot in one multiplayer map. Unfortunately he sucks against every other opponent.

Has anybody found a use for one or more assault bots in multiplayer?

Most of the nodes come from some special cases like: "If only snipers" or "if only shotguns". That are the cases when another tactic could be useful and you do not know who is your enemy before the game is deployed. With that extra nodes the game has nothing to do with rock/paper...

It happened on Mindgame map (so must be after the last update if I remember correctly). We booth did not get the Resource but at the end I was told, that it was a victory. How do you test your bots. When I try to test with my more sophisticated bots then often I get a draw, even when the result is different and I can see some changes. If I test with stupid bots, then there is to less information. So my question is, how do you manage to get to multiplayer with a new AI...

I counted 40 nodes for my mind game bot, most bots have 25-30 nodes, some have less

I think one of this draws was me. Unexpected for me to, I think it was a bug. I replayed several times, clearly a draw but I got some points. Happened to me only one time before last update :geek:
