Re: Alpha 12

8. I somewhat have an issue with walls not being a death plane since we still can't move towards a different wall, we still can't differentiate where it would be safe to go, and (more importantly), there is no "is touching" range so for players like me who don't want to stop a mile away fr...

Number 7 is a bug: if a condition reads any info on tags, no other tags will get updated afterwards

Re: Alpha 12

5. Also, the Christmas Tree doesn't work well for colorblind people
6. The giant question mark hints are kinda in the way of using tags. How do I turn them off?
7. Why are we still limited to 1 tag/untag per tick?

Re: Alpha 12

My few notes as of a few seconds: 1. Request: can I get more than just being forced to you two fingers to move around the screen? It feel really awkward trying to view a full AI the way things current is 2. Request: can we a setting in the options menu to turn off the Christmas Tree node coloring? 3...

Re: Lake rushtown imbalance

Hmm... based on what Mumpsimus has noticed on telegram (I'm currently 100% inactive for gladiabots right now), this is proving to be true. Also, this is a problem that is made worse with auto-deploy because the side with the advantage typically wins and gets many more free wins from this bug

Re: Node Reactivity Depth Discussion(+10ms per node)

That's a way to incite new players to keep their AI size reasonable and reduce the chance they eventually realize they went overboard and quit the game by lack of motivation to optimize or restart from scratch. Hmm... I'm not exactly sure that you will quite get results like this. Simply put, I fee...

Re: Who do you think will win?

I placed the machine gun a bit random, I still think in that match don't matter that much, because still 6 targets at close range and 3 at long range Actually, the placement of the machine gun matters a lot, because the group you put the machine gun in typically is attacked first, and there are 2 s...

Re: Who do you think will win?

Yea, but you know if blue push to the machine gun too strong, then red win? Even that depends on the AIs involved. However, given that all bots have the same AI, I really doubt that you will push the machine gun that much unless you intend to sabotage the results (which is definitely possible despi...

Re: Who do you think will win?

This is 100% AI dependent. Under normal circumstances, blue should win because the machine gun will be forced to retreat before it can do any meaningful damage. However if blue team ignores that group of bots, then red might have a fairly meaningful advantage

Re: Attacked by an ally, but exclude sniper?

Currently, it is impossible to do what you describe without using team tags as Jeffrey describes. The only problem imo is just the nature of using tags in general with anything that involves untagging something, as you need to be very careful to not tag too often

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. I think the server deletes open games for the wrong map (making site no one can join them). At the very least, I have confirmation that the auto deploy feature does not work if you are a day late
