So you want ten chances to tune your AI to beat an opponent's fixed AI? Not just a fixed AI... a fixed AI that just lost. Anyways, what's the point in that? If I troll people with theletter7 and and deploy a dead AI, I could just basically be able to spam matches against a player who does nothing. ...

There's a slight difference between the card and the wiki regarding kingmaker.

A week ago I was demoted to master and I only just got back into grandmaster (with my sub-50 node ai). During that week I never noticed the missing maps.

I can see the funny side now.

Love the new loading screen. Initial logo looks good and the out-of-focus background is cool. Having said that, I'd question the balance. The logo quickly disappears while the background hangs around too long. Could mix them or add something in to make loading more compelling. Whatever. Back to the ...

So a maximum of four AIs, one for each bot type.

Is it worth being more specific and say that no one can change any AIs once the contest has started?

It's already fun. I just knocked up a 12-node AI that beats my normal AI on T7W (all assaults).

Sounds interesting. I'll sign up. Some questions: 1: Why private matches? Auto scheduling would be better. I know there have been some problems in the last tournament, but when it works it is great. Also would help GFX testing integration. 2: Are map-specific AIs allowed? There might then be 5(+1)*4...

But direction/facing is completely irrelevant in the current system. Adding it would make things much much more complicated.

You've got to consider the primitive elements. It would be a whole different game if instructions were move forward, turn 45', fire, etc.

I think this problem is systematic. The fact is that All/Any/Counting have been shoehorned into a structure that can't easily accommodate them.

I enjoyed the originality of the challenge, although I also played my standard ai for the map.

In my three SG/MG matches, SG won twice. Surprisingly, my SG managed to beat Milkhunter MG.
