You and me both. I should probably make my bots be more aggressive when there is only one ball left.

Re: How can I run Gladiabots on Ubuntu?

When I try to run Default Linux desktop Universal.x86 on my 64 bit system, it does not run and throws ./Default Linux desktop Universal.x86: error while loading shared libraries: libXcursor.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory No player log was created in ~/.config/unity3d...

6.1.3 Debug Console hangs game in Linux Ubuntu 16.04.1

Ubuntu 16.04.1
Default Linux desktop Universal.x86_64

Launches fine, tutorial works.

But opening debug console hangs the program. Console does not open and not responsive to input.

I thought I had that game but you pulled through just at the last. Nice one.

Re: 6.1.3 Exclusive BotTag bug

Ah, yep that's my bad then. I expected it to only tag one. Changing "any" to something else gives me what I wanted. "ExclusiveBotTag" + "Any" If "Any" takes priority, it does allow for multiple tags AND sumultanious clearing of other instances of the ta...

6.1.3 Exclusive BotTag bug

Android Exclusivebottag1 any short medium teamtagC teamtagE enemy Does not work as expected. I would expect that bottag1 would only be applied to one target even if multiple bots fulfill the filter conditions. Instead, any bot that fulfills the conditions gets tagged with bottag1. Ex. TeamTagC and T...

Re: NotTag1 AND NotTag2?

So, without really thinking too hard about this. Maybe using notbottag1 and notteamtagA will solve your issue? You can get an and condition between tag1 and tagA.

Sorry, if I don't make sense. I'm a little drunk and stuffed with food and not really thinking straight.

Re: Tip: Plan your escape.

With the addition of subroutines, I'd like to offer a little optimisation for a subroutine I recommend: running away. When you retreat, you could simply "run from nearest enemy" until you feel safe. But what if your only enemy in long range is a shotgun? Or the assault that you're scared ...

Re: Why remove current target?

Respectfully... The reaction time argument is moot. Everyone works under the same conditions. Everyone who is using tagging will incur the same tick overhead for tagging and untagging. The only reason that things are seem slower now is that currently targeted automated tagging and untagging in one t...

Re: Why remove current target?

GFX47 explained it here. http://gfx47.com/games/Gladiabots/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=190#p1972 Sorry but I won't restore the "currently targeted" target selector for now, I'm still convinced that the tagging system is a better solution for that and I prefer to have one generic system t...

Re: Alpha 6.1.2

I'm ok. I wiped the data in the Android app settings and started from scratch. But that wasn't that big a deal cause it was a fresh install.

I don't think it's bad enough to warrant an instant hotfix.
