I disagree with picking before the game. The point of the autodeploy is to create more games for people to play against. Making people pick before might stop them from using the feature. Also, there might be some maps where you wouldn't want to redeploy even if you won.

I think it would be pretty good if there were a list of guest articles from the top players. This would allow them to explain the most important ideas behind their AIs.

I think the advice you'd give to new players is the same advice you'd give to any players, and it has to be based on what the current best known strategies are in the game, i.e. what the top players do. The best strategy has changed a few times since the game was released, and I'm sure it will chang...

No, it is likely the pushing and retreatment part.

The ~10 most right nodes are the most important bit of my AI, along with the pushing code in another module. My retreatment is actually pretty poor.

This is why the replay should be a private game and not count against Elo.

On some maps, such as CoD, I know I could win by simply changing the position of the sniper, so the replays must be private
