I like that idea too! I guess we'll have to wait and see how the game progresses before we can come up with a definite plan, but that idea sounds great if there ends up being a lot of maps.

I thought that might be the case. Can someone give me an example of how you do the "if closest enemy bot is low health and low shields, move to short range, then attack while closest enemy bot is in short or medium range (once bot leaves medium range, start over)". Thanks!

Thanks for this tip! This dramatically improved my AI. I did not consider the idea of not retreating when their are no enemies in short/medium range with more than 25% shield.

+1 for this from me. Some aspects of the AI execute only for a split second, and it is REALLY hard to see them even with slow motion. A debugging output console would be helpful for this.
